Jewish Cemetery in Lodz
Conference participants will have the opportunity to visit the Jewish Cemetery in Lodz. Dating from 1892, it is the biggest Jewish cemetery in Europe, covering 40 hectars. The cemetery was in service during the Nazi occupation, and it is still the burial ground of the local Jewish community.

Radegast Station
The Radegast Station was a railway station used by the Nazis to transport Jews from Western Europe to the Litzmannstadt Ghetto, and from the Ghetto to the death camps in Chelmno and Auschwitz. Today it is a monument devoted to the memory of the Ghetto victims.

Jewish Present
Conference participants will have the opportunity to join a Kabbalat Shabbat at the Magen David Fundation, an educational and cultural orthodox organization cooperating with the Ronald S. Lauder Fundation in Lodz. Feel the homely atmosphere of the small cultural club of Magen David, and prepare for three hours of eating and singing!
